Along with normal school uniform and dark shoes the Anchors are required to wear a red jumper with the BB logo. Jumpers can be purchased from BB direct.
 
 
A typical night with the Anchors
  1. BB meet on a Monday evening during school term time at 6.30pm until 7.45pm.
  2. The youngest of all of the BB sections is the Anchor section for children aged between 5 and 8 years.
  3. The children are first asked to fall into line and we start with a short inspection. Points are given for clean hands, uniform, for attending church and remembering their BB hand books. Points are given every week and at the end of the year they are added up and prizes are given at our awards night.
  4. The Anchors then join up with the Junior section for some fun and games before splitting off to their own rooms for structured and supervised activities. These include arts and crafts, drawing, reading, poetry, singing and cooking.
  5. The evening is finished with a small tuck shop where the children are only allowed to spend around 20p.
